BARBARA OWCZAREK
Illustrator, Animator, and Book Designer
Barbara is a multi-diverse artist with a passion for storytelling. She is interested in projects promoting diversity, inclusion and ways to help children understand difficult emotions and events. Barbara has worked in the industry for 11 years and is driven by projects that stand out. Barbara has qualifications in Art, Animation, Psychology, Aromatherapy, and Holistic Massage. She continues to expand her knowledge by taking various courses and diplomas, such as Mindfulness, Herbalism, or Art therapy (there are so many wonderful things to learn!). In her free time, Barbara enjoys hiking and bike trips with her son.
LOR BINGHAM
Freelance Editor
Lor owns and runs Calico Editing and Author Services. She enjoys working closely with authors to help turn a first draft manuscript into an engaging, memorable and successful book. Lor has written for scientific journals and edited hundreds of published books, and she has qualifications in English language, psychology and music. Mother-of-three Lor works mainly on children's books and chapter books, with authors all around the world and at different stages
in their writing careers – from new emerging authors to well-established household names. In her spare time, Lor enjoys painting and advocating for neurodiverse children.
ANGELA CATRANI
Art Director and Editor
Angela has been working in publishing for over twenty years and specialises in illustrated literature for children. With a degree in Italian Literature from the University of Bologna (Italy), she has continuously worked in publishing houses. Angela was an editor of Bacchilega Junior (Italy) for eight years and specializes in illustrated children's literature. She has a blended family: a husband and four children. In her free time, Angela loves to read, visit museums, play and spend time with her family.
SHERIF SALIM
Music Producer and Sound Designer
Sherif has been working in music industry for over 11 years and specialises in film soundtracks, as well as music for media, advertising and concerts. Over the past decade, he wrote music in over 40 categories. Highly talented and innovative, Sherif has a diverse knowledge of all music genres. He is accomplished with qualifications in both room and staging design, sound system development, purchase, installation, sound proofing and producing. In his free time, Sherif produces original music.
